Opening of the Hotel!
Hotel Vedensky was opened in October 2011. The location of the Hotel is in the very heart of the city. It is also architectural monument of state significance. Such famous sightseeing of the Saint-Petersburg as Petropalovskaya fortress, Cabinet of Curiosities, The Hermitage and Vasilievsky Island are In the walking distance from the hotel.
Hotel Vedensky is set in the former Vedensky Gymnasium. The Gymnasium was founded by decree of Catherine II in 1781. The Chapel in the name of st Kirill and Mefodiy was founded
in the late 19th century. The Chapel was closed in 1918 after the Great October Revolution. There were craft Schools in this building till 90s of last century.
The construction of the Hotel was financed by Joint Stock Company ALROSA.
